Hey All
New to the forum but not to HTC.
I upgraded my HTC 2 days ago from the Hero to the Legend but I am experiencing a serious lag with the Legend. It is taking at least 10 seconds to open up messages, calls etc. It really doing my head in. Didnt experience this with the Hero.
Also Charged the phone completely before going to bed and didnt use it, woke up the following morning and the battery was at 50 %, Dont have wifi, bluetooth on etc.
Any help with this would be appreciated

Don't know if this is the source of your problem, but you should install a task manager/app killer from the market. A lot of programs boot with your phone that you may not use or want, and if they're all running in the background it will drain your resources.
I run mine every few hours just to keep things running smoothly.

Already had task killer installed but I think I got the lag sorted, had a police radio scanner app installed and when I got rid of it, phone was back to normal. But the battery thing is a bit of a joke at this stage, Im having to keep the phone connected to my PC in work all day to charge. Ive lowered screen brightness,wi-fi off, bluetooth off, killed all running apps that I dont need and after ten minutes of web use on the phone Ive lost 50% battery. Using the Hero before I got used to the 8 hour battery life but the legend is only about 4

I agree, certain things really affect the battery negatively.
I've noticed on mine that auto sync, internet use and push email really drain things, although I can't be bothered to change any of that. Like you, I charge at every possible moment. Home, work and even in the car.
