Go through the 'People' app, select your contact, scroll down until you see 'Ringtone'. To set a song as your ring tone go to music then find the song you want, click play, when the song comes up on the screen press the menu button and click "Set as Ringtone" Ive got no idea how or if its possible to do the same for the alarm and msg tones.
